Are you a creative, driven communicator ready to gain real-world experience this summer? Do you want to grow your portfolio and your confidence while learning directly from a seasoned media strategist and brand storyteller?

Blossom Business Communications™ (BBC) is seeking interns to join our team for Summer 2025. This is not your typical internship—we’re offering hands-on, guided experience that empowers you to flex your creativity, sharpen your communication skills, and walk away with work that actually matters.

You’ll contribute to real campaigns for both the BBC brand and our founder’s personal thought leadership platform, learning how to create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms. Through these three tracks—social media, public relations, and content creation—interns will sharpen their writing, elevate their strategic thinking, and gain hands-on experience that builds visibility, trust, and meaningful engagement across today’s communications landscape.

Social Media

Our Social Media Intern will help bring brand stories to life across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. This role goes beyond creating content—it’s about learning the strategy behind engagement, audience behavior, and analytics.

Public Relations

The Public Relations Intern will support media outreach and brand visibility efforts through research, writing, and campaign support. From building press lists to drafting media pitches and monitoring industry coverage, this role offers a behind-the-scenes view of how brands shape their public narrative.

Content Creation

Our Content Creation Intern will focus on developing original, compelling content for both internal and external audiences. This includes drafting blog posts, newsletters, captions, scripts, and messaging that aligns with our brand voice and communication goals.

  • Mentorship + Strategy Insight: Work closely with Nicole Pride, a nationally recognized communications leader and CEO of Blossom Business Group. Nicole will personally mentor you, sharing insider knowledge on brand storytelling, audience psychology, media trends, and strategic visibility.
  • Real-World Learning: This is an experiential learning opportunity, where you’ll understand what truly drives engagement and brand trust—not just what’s trending.
  • Creative Ownership: We believe in structure and freedom. You’ll have the support you need and the room to let your creativity flourish within a professional business model.
  • Flexible Schedule: Build your skills while still enjoying your summer. This internship is fully remote, with 1 weekly video call (more as needed). If you’re based in Central New Jersey, optional monthly in-person meetings are encouraged.
  • A strong writer who loves storytelling and social media.
  • Enthusiastic about branding, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Organized, responsible, and eager to learn from feedback.
  • Familiar with platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Canva (or willing to learn).
  • Open to growing through guidance and excited to contribute fresh ideas.

Social Media Internship

  • Creating and scheduling posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn using brand-aligned content
  • Designing graphics and short-form videos (Reels, Stories) using Canva and CapCut
  • Writing engaging captions and headlines tailored to different platforms
  • Researching trending topics, hashtags, and content ideas for audience engagement
  • Monitoring analytics to assess post performance and suggest optimizations
  • Assisting with social media campaign rollouts (e.g. launches, events, visibility pushes)
  • Helping plan and manage a content calendar for Blossom Business Communications and the CEO’s thought leadership brand

Public Relations Internship

  • Researching and building targeted media lists for outreach
  • Drafting press releases, media alerts, and journalist outreach emails
  • Tracking media coverage and compiling coverage reports
  • Assisting with story angle development and pitch strategy
  • Drafting or proofreading talking points and backgrounders for interviews or public appearances
  • Supporting reputation-building initiatives for the CEO’s personal brand
  • Researching local and national PR trends relevant to small business and executive visibility


Content Creation Internship

  • Writing blog posts, social media copy, and newsletter content
  • Drafting scripts for short videos or podcast intros
  • Developing messaging frameworks for upcoming campaigns or events
  • Repurposing video/audio transcripts into articles or micro-content
  • Writing bios, speaker blurbs, or about pages to support branding initiatives
  • Conducting light interviews or Q&As to generate story-driven content
  • Assisting with tone and voice consistency across written platforms
  • Duration: June 2 – August 14, 2025
  • Location: Remote (Central NJ candidates encouraged to attend one in-person meeting per month)
  • Commitment: 8–10 hours/week, with flexibility
  • Academic Credit: We’re happy to provide documentation or supervision if your college offers credit for internships.
  • Compensation: Unpaid, but invaluable in experience, access, and portfolio-building
